Three Actions to keep Happy and Healthy

SLEEP WELL:  The first and foremost of Actions to keep Happy and Healthy. My best tip for sleeping is – I take the phone out of the bedroom or wherever I am sleeping, at least 30 minutes before I go to sleep. Keep the bedroom cool and listen to relaxing music before I sleep. I like classical music, Bach or something softer. I turn my phone off around 8pm and don’t turn it back on until the next morning after I have had breakfast and meditated.

MEDITATE every morning: I have a routine now, where after my partner leaves for work, I will sit still for at least 15 minutes. Then I think about what I would like my day to look like and create for that day.

Running for me is also a meditation. There is no right way to meditate, you can find something that suits your lifestyle and include it in your daily routine.

I have meditated in airports, sitting in parks, cafes or anywhere else I can find to fit it into my day. Just another simple Actions to keep Happy and Healthy

FRESH EATING: Eat plenty of veggies, salads and fruits. I find ways to eat fruits and veggies so that they are a delicious part of my day. I am experimenting with making new salad dressings each week. Part of my Sunday routine is that I make a big weekly salad. This lasts my partner and I, at least 6 days.

I am also trying new ways to have healthy snacks ready for when I come home, after a long day or a big workout (better snacks than grabbing chips!). Fruit trays with some delicious dips or sauces that are great to eat and also super healthy.
