Three Easy Steps To Happiness And Health Everyday!

SLEEP WELL:  To get a great sleep, I take the phone out of the bedroom at least 30 minutes before I go to sleep. Make the bedroom extra cool and listen to relaxing music before I sleep.

I like classical music, Bach or something softer. I turn my phone off in the evening around 8pm and don’t turn it back on until the next morning (after I have had breakfast and meditated).

MEDITATION: I have a morning meditation routine now. After my partner leaves for work, I sit for 15 minutes and breathe. Then I think about what my day could look like and what I can create for that day.

Running is also my meditation. There is no ‘right way’ to meditate, you can find something that suits your lifestyle and include it as part of your daily routine.

I have meditated in airports, parks, cafes or anywhere else I can find to fit it into my day.

FRESH EATING: Eat plenty of veggies, salads and fruits. I always looking for new ways to eat fruits and veggies so that they are a delicious part of my day.

Part of my Sunday afternoon routine is that I make a big weekly salad. This lasts for at least 5 days and is an easy addition to my dinners. I am also experimenting with making my own salad dressings with big flavour and natural ingredients.

After a long day or a big workout, I nosh on a bit of fruit salad (better snack than grabbing chips!). Or eat frozen blueberries with protein. This combination tastes like a cold smoothie and is super healthy for you.
