My first Skype interview at home!

The interview took place in my second  bedroom early in the morning and with a much different set up that I am used to.

To be honest, I was a bit nervous because I have never done this type of interview before (usually I am in the TV studio with the host).

But I am always happy to talk about my favourite healthy items and new ideas that you can try at home.

First Thing In The Morning I Do This 

I use Tom’s of Maine Luminous White®.

What I love about this toothpaste is that it brightens my teeth and is also natural.  Plus, I have sensitive teeth and usually a whitening toothpaste might be too strong for my teeth (and make it painful to use) but this toothpaste it has been wonderful and it is gluten free and vegan!

Tom’s of Maine deodorant – both my fiance and I use these deodorants daily.

I love the light scent and that they really work!

Most people think that because something is ‘natural’ means that it won’t work. But that is not the case at all with these deodorants.  I have been using them for years and love them for their scent and also their ability to truly work and be effective all day long.

 

Each Morning When I Have Breakfast

I have four supplements to give me energy and help me feel my best.

Post Home Work Out Treat

For a special treat and to keep full longer, throughout your day – try this simple recipe (it tastes like ice cream but with less calories and more nutrition):

Frozen Berries and Protein – Super Healthy Recipe

  • 1 cup of mixed frozen berries
  • 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup low sugar Almond Milk
  • 1 scoop Garden of Life Sports Protein Mix (or you can try their All in One Shake for protein and nutrition mix)

Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl. You may want to add more water to make it a bit creamier.

An important tip is to put the protein powder mix in first.

Then add the berries and the almond milk and stir.

This will help prevent the protein powder from flying all over your kitchen counter in a dry powder of fluff everywhere 🙂
