I love the Fraser Valley because the people are so warm, welcoming, passionate and friendly. It’s a beautiful region with mountains, rivers, fields and rich agriculture, all making such a beautiful setting!
The Fraser Valley is a collaboration of destinations Abbotsford and Chilliwack, in partnership with destinations Harrison and Hope. They came together to share what their valley has to offer with the intention of providing you with the inspiration you need to visit and have fun.
It’s really a lovely place to visit. People come from all around the world to experience this beautiful part of British Columbia and Canada.
On the Fraser Valley website, you can find lots of fun ideas for your visit. They share blog posts from the eyes of the locals and have a great Instagram account with locals who take over the account. They share all their favourite spots in the valley, so
you can explore like the locals do!
They have everything from shopping, to hiking and biking. There are activities for everyone! Did you know that you can golf and fish in the Fraser Valley all 365 days of the year? They also have a range of great accommodations from the Royal Hotel, to others that are great for relaxation like the Harrison Hot Springs Resort.
You can stroll around downtown Abbotsford to shop and enjoy local coffee and baked goods or book a fishing guide and try sturgeon fishing in Chilliwack (my favourite!).
I tried sturgeon fishing for the first time and had the best time of my life – amazing!
